PMO Project Manager - Banking/Agile
A global credit and loan origination specialists is seeking a Senior Project Managers - Commercial Lending/ Loan/ Mortgage with Agile experience.
Job Description
Will manage team of Functional and Technical staff, both onshore and offshore, on medium to long-term engagements at customer sites. Work closely with the customer to ensure coordination of overall delivery. Spearhead project plan creation, management of project scope with customer, issue management, overall management of project in an effort to meet profit objectives and minimize loss, management of change control process, sizing of change requests and impact to current deliverables. Lead teams through full software implementation life cycle, including requirements, design, development, testing and deployment. Accountable for overall success of project. Responsible for clearly communicating, assigning and driving tasks, managing project issues and proactively assessing and mitigating project risks. Accurately estimate work and creates SOW’s and Change Orders. Effectively manages and tracks the budget, schedule and scope according to the contractual obligations. Focus on customer satisfaction by quickly addressing customer issues while holding customer accountable for their dependencies and deliverables. Ensure overall quality of implementation, and assists in professional development of Implementation Team by working with them to identify opportunities to expand their skills and knowledge. Effectively communicates project status to appropriate stakeholders and team members. Drives strategic recommendations and project direction.
Required Skills
Minimum of five years of project management or Business Analyst experience implementing enterprise level packaged applications with demonstrated success managing scope, timelines and budget. Experience managing customer facing projects in a vendor/customer relationship. Must have strong planning, organization and time management skills. Experience with Agile. Ability to proactively manage project resources including situations and escalations from both internal and external customers including senior management. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of resources including management. Ability to maintain a perspective on global issues as well as the detailed aspects of the project. Self-starter who can get up to speed quickly and takes the initiative to drive projects to success. Must be available to travel 30% and have a valid passport; will have ability to work from home when not traveling. Business experience in the credit industry, commercial banking, and/or commercial lending experience is preferred.
