Responsibilities:
- Support the testing, implementation and maintenance of corporate wide Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans, policies and procedures.
- Perform risk analysis to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure, and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
- Provide oversight on end-to-end applications testing and support disaster recovery exercises, application and process mapping in accordance with the disaster recovery plan.
- Prepare recommendations and implement enterprise business continuity planning tools (i.e. Business Continuity Management and corporate-wide communication/notification solutions).
- Support the response strategies IT and operational service disruption in the event of a significant incident or disaster.
- Lead efforts in establishing Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and develop recovery priorities, timelines, and strategy for proper sequence of recovery components.
- Assist in the Crisis Management/Incident Management during service disruption events and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Perform maintenance of current data using Assurance Software/SunGard Assurance and Send Word Now.
- Assist in the coordination of Committee meetings and developing MI for various governance forums, including clear and concise documentation.
- Create training and awareness presentations/materials for employees and participate in the delivery of training and awareness exercises which aim to embed the Operational Resilience strategy within the business.
- Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendation to achieve and modify safety and security goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Technology or related fields.
- 3 to 5 years of business continuity, crisis planning, emergency management, facilities/critical systems management, security planning, or related role.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Experience in project management, group facilitation and training are required.
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (DRII CBCP) or equivalent industry certification.
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalents preferred.
- Project Management Professional with a PMP certification desired.
- DR/BC planning experience including Risk Assessment, Business Impact Analysis, Recovery Strategies and Crisis Management.
- Development and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery exercises within individual departments across the enterprise.
- Experience working with IT teams to develop, maintain and test IT Disaster Recovery and fallback / fallover processes.
- Proficiency with Send Word Now and Assurance.
- Proven ability to write global policies and standards.
