SUMMARY

Business Planning & Promotion

Assists to coordinate customer requirements and system related projects from business promotion point of view with manager’s advice. Assists business promotional issues and enforces business planning projects with manager’s advice.   Manages client-related information processing and maintenance both for clients and for internal use.

JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assists business promotional issues with manager’s advice.
  2. Cooperates with appropriate staff of the Bank to provide good services with customers.
  3. Coordinates and arranges business promotion and system projects in d eveloping an understanding of operational workflows with other departments with manager’s advice.
  4. Creates and enhances any marketing materials.
  5. Verifies and prepares contracts and other business documentation.
  6. Submits and processes approval and request forms.
  7. Manages maintenance and research of physical data, electrical data and other information, and enhancement of those data for various uses.
  8. Contacts clients , the Bank’s headquarters, representative office, service agents, affiliates?a nd other parties con c erned by telephone or in writing , as needed .
  9. Proactively responds to customer inquiries, claims and complaints.  Analyzes the customers’ needs and reports to managers in a timely manner.  Develops solutions/options to customer requirements and improves service relationship with customers.
  10. Informs the customer when potential problems are expected, if a problem has already occurred and takes any required action from the customer to solve the problem quickly.
  11. Maintains and organizes all the communication records with customers, approval forms, and other documents as directed by managers.
  12. Makes necessary checks to customer reports and other documents as directed by the managers to maintain/improve the global custody product quality.
  13. Assists in the Officer’s responsibilities during his/her absence (ex. Account maintenance, various approval procedures, review of other staff’s answer for customer’s inquiry).
  14. Informs the Manager or appropriate officer of any problems .
  15. Assists the manager’s responsibilities during his/her absence.
  16. Performs all BSA/AML assigned duties as listed in the “Amended and Restated Policy regarding Opening, Monitoring and Closing of Custodial Accounts” as found on Employee Access.
  17.  Provide high quality work by ensuring accuracy and seeking to continuously improve our processes and platforms by embracing new and better ways of doing things
  18. Performs all functions as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Marketing, IT or Accounting preferred.)
  2. Work experience in Financial Institution preferred
  3. Excellent communication and writing skills in both Japanese and English.
  4. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  5. Excellent PC skills in Japanese and English (MS Word and Excel.  Access preferred).
  6. Good knowledge of international business.
