Job Description

Network Administrator

  • Manage and maintain stores' network equipment and provide day-to-day support for their internet and wifi connectivity to MPOS and other devices.
  • Manage and maintain Windows servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD, Office 365 mailbox management, application servers, etc.
  • Configure and install various network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, access points, servers, storage, virtualization, audio, and video equipment, etc.
  • Administer Cisco phone system for day-to-day user and extension management.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and outages; perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
  • Aid in setting up LAN/WAN infrastructure for multiple branch offices in different geographical areas when needed. Provide support to various branch and satellite offices, etc.
  • Provide advanced-level support to the Desktop Support team and PC Technicians from remote offices for any escalated and non-resolved issues.
  • Liaise with other IT personnel for problem-resolution.

  • Hands-on network and system engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols such as VLAN, LLDP, STP, OSPF, IPSEC, HSRP, 802.11, QoS.
  • Knowledge of the Cisco VoIP phone system.
  • Knowledge of server and storage arrays including SAN, SCSI, and RAID technologies.
  • Familiar with Cisco Meraki cloud technology.
  • Familiar with POS, MPOS, PCI, etc.
  • Advantages to Cisco or Juniper Network Certifications.
