Production Support Engineer - Financial
New York, NY
Currently seeking a Production Engineer/ for an opportunity in New York. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Automate, Dashboard, ETL, and Scripting.
Responsibilities of the Production Support Engineer - Financial
- Provide day-to-day support for our production systems.
- Deploy and configure new instances of software.
- Capacity management including monitoring and planning.
- Disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Communicate and collaborate with the research, trading and software engineering teams to ensure that we are building software that is well designed in terms of production deployment.
Requirements of the Production Support Engineer - Financial
- Strong ETL and Dashboard experience and skills
- Experience in Automation engineer
- Primarily ETL programmer (SSIS/Stored Procs)
- Knowledge of Automation preferred but can do on the job Automate 10 training as long as there is automation knowledge and windows development experience
- Experience with MVC (or related web app development) is a plus
- Experience in a support role with evidence of increasing responsibilities over time
- Experience in a financial services company preferred
- Good organization skills
