Job Description
The SAP CRM Enterprise Developer will be responsible for the design, architecture, development, implementation, integration, and ongoing support and maintenance of our SAP CRM system to solve our integration and customization challenges. Candidates for this position must show a strong mix of experience in software development methodologies, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), SAP development languages and protocols, CRM/ERP product/process expertise, and experience deploying enterprise software technologies into complex organizations. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the requirements gathering and detail design activities
- Manage and/or perform hands-on development. Manage multiple projects to completion.
- Design standard, reusable code for common SAP CRM integrations
- Handle ABAP/web services/ API integrations with other systems
- Establish SAP specific software design best practices
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the integration tools and mechanisms between SAP CRM and SAP ERP and other external sources/applications … (ex. to provide support to….OR … to enable smooth transitions, etc. ** SEE alternative under req’s)
- Create project status reports and accurately track/manage project issues and risks.
- Ensure timely implementation of new enhancements for delivery of the technical architecture designs, strategies, quality assurance plans, etc.
- Define common problem areas and determine best courses of action to improve/correct them
- Prioritize and escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner
- Provide internal support as a technical expert and SME, and provide team support as required to meet the business needs.
- Manage all activities with minimal supervision
Job Requirements:
- BS or MS with 5+ years of experience, at least 3 years of experience in the deployment, support or operation of large enterprise business applications.
- Development experience with at least one current development environment and related programming languages/protocols (ABAP,SAP UI5,Web Dympro, etc)
- Experience in SOA using both SOAP and REST based web services, and an understanding of the issues presented by such systems.
- Literate with latest industry trends around SAP and web technologies and integration approaches - Web 2.0, SaaS, SOA, etc.
- Knowledge of database concepts and data modeling capabilities
- Experience with one or more enterprise-level ERP/CRM applications required (SAP ERP, BW, BOBJ, CRM)
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Stay current with new trends of integration tools and mechanisms between SAP and other external sources/applications
