Job Summary 

 

The Sales/CRM Analyst will have a unique opportunity to work with senior executives to shape a vision for how technology will support and enhance the business operations for Sales and Sales administration. Upon gaining agreement on a strategic plan, this role will also be responsible for executing the plan and realizing the business benefits.

 

With a culture of change, there are numerous opportunities for the Business Relationship Manager to drive change while making a significant impact on the information quality and operational efficiency for the Sales organization.

 

In developing the strategic plan, the Business Relationship Manager will need to work closely with a variety of business clients and varying levels in the organization. Strong communication and relationship skills are paramount. Additionally the candidate should possess aptitude in shaping ambiguous concepts into concrete direction and action plans. The strategic plan will include both longer term components such as a Customer Relationship Management transformation while supporting more short term opportunities such as creating a Customer Master.

 

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assess current processes for Sales and customer functions
  • Develop a vision and plan including tactical and strategic IT recommendations for executive approval
  • Formulate the vision into a roadmap of IT initiatives and begin to realize business benefits through the implementation of the roadmap
  • Select software vendors and implementation partners as required
  • Develop strong relationships with internal business clients at executive levels and below
  • Facilitate a work environment that fosters and supports ethical decision-making and actions by motivating, promoting and modeling ethical behavior, as well as executing job responsibilities in accordance with Benjamin Moore Foundations

 

Required Skills

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Sound business acumen; ability to formulate hypotheses and use data to validate or invalidate
  • Experience with CRM technology packages such as Saleforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, etc
  • Strong working knowledge of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service processes
  • Solid knowledge of financial metrics (i.e., ROI, Earned-value, etc.)
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels; navigate an organization and leverage relationships to achieve results
  • Strong knowledge of business process improvement methodologies and techniques
  • Ability to lead (provide direction & structure), network and influence at all levels
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Strong learning agility and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor degree OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 4 years of college
  • 8 or more years Business Analysis and Business Relationship Management
  • 4 or more years of supervisory/managerial experience
