Job Description
Currently seeking a Lead and Sr. Ecommerce Java/J2EE developer to join our web development team.
The role involves design and implementation of applications and other web based solutions that support the business. The Lead role will also manage a group of 6-8 developers.
Required Skills:
4+ years experience developing web applications using distributed components with J2EE/Java platforms (JSP, JDBC, EJB, Servlet).
Extensive knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, Ajax/JSON, DWR, REST.
Experience using framework components such as Spring, Struts, Velocity, SOLR, Maven, Hibernate, HTML/XHTMLServlet, JSP, EJB, JMS, JNDI, LDAP, JDBC, XML, XSL, XSLT, SOAP, OpenJPA, Web Services and WSDL, Eclipse Rich Client Platform.
Experience working with application servers (WebLogic/WebSphere).
Experience with RDBMS and SQL on databases such as Oracle 9i and 10g, MS-SQL.
Experience using JavaScript Tool kits like Dojo, Jquery, Jscript etc.
Experience using open source technology and products
Experience in using source control software such as SVN, Visual Source Safe etc.
Experience using shopping cart software such as Elastic Path is a plus
Experience integrating payment gateways and credit card processing such as First Data Payment Gateway is a plus
Understanding of internet trends such as social media, mobile, SEO, analytics.
Strong problem solving abilities.
Motivated self starter with good communication skills.
Assist internal and external teams with technical guidance when working on projects to define scope, deliverables, project timelines.
Must be able to provide accurate time estimates for development projects.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Must be able to create system design documents for development work.
Experience with Oracle Web Center Sites a plus.
Willingness to learn, a can do attitude, and motivated to succeed and grow.
