UI/UX Designer
We are seeking an Interactive Designer to help create engaging web experiences in our Bridgewater, NJ location.
NOTE:
We will require an on-site resource to work 40hrs/week in Bridgewater.
This resource will work with the digital marketing team and other interactive designers to redesign corporate website, bringing the new brand to life on various digital platforms
What you’ll be doing:
• Work with the IA/UX/Development team to execute designs for web and mobile (browser, tablet & phone).
• Help create cutting edge interfaces and experiences.
What you’ll need to do the job:
• Familiarity with mobile platforms, successful UI solutions and trends. You have an iPad & collect apps that are of no interest to you, but have a killer interface and an awesome user experience.
• Working understanding of interactive front-end technologies (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript). You don’t have to write jQuery plugins, but you should understand cross-browser/platform limitations and what is/isn’t possible with JavaScript.
• Ability for critical thinking. Fueled by a good design sense, strong understanding of technical concepts, and an eye for making things better .
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The difference between good and great is a hundred details.
You should have the following:
• An undergraduate degree (BFA) or equivalent experience.
• A strong & eclectic online portfolio that shows amazing work.
• A solid background in typography, color, and layout.
• Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator skills.
• A strong understanding HTML5/CSS/JavaScript (no coding necessary)
